Does SOBC accept medicaid for the lapband?

Most insurance companies offer benefits for bariatric surgery. It is up to the employer to offer it on their policy. DHS - I am not familiar with but if it is like Oregon Health Plan, then they do have coverage although you have to go to Coos Bay, Eugene or Bend for surgery because they require a certain certification that we do not possess.
